NOVA Luxury Hair Extensions are designed to give you beautiful, long-lasting hair—but proper at-home care makes all the difference. Follow these recommendations to help keep your NOVA extensions looking and feeling their best.

WASHING

Gently brush before washing. Use professional, extension-safe products and thoroughly cleanse the scalp while avoiding aggressive scrubbing or tangling of the extensions. Always rinse thoroughly.

CONDITIONING

Apply conditioner through the mid-lengths and ends. Avoid applying conditioner, oils, or heavy products directly to the attachment area.

BRUSHING

Brush gently and regularly with an extension-safe brush. Support the hair near the attachment area while brushing and always work from the ends upward.

HEAT STYLING

Always use heat protectant before using hot tools. Keep excessive heat away from the attachment area and avoid unnecessarily high temperatures.

SLEEPING

Never go to bed with wet extensions. Make sure your hair is completely dry, then loosely braid or secure it before sleeping to help prevent tangling and matting.

SWIMMING & VACATION CARE

Take extra care around chlorine, salt water, sunscreen and mineral-rich water, as these can affect the condition and color of extension hair. Wet and protect the hair before swimming, keep it secured when possible, and cleanse it afterward.
